Getting there
Most trips connect through Split by ferry, so Brač works best with a Split-based or island-focused itinerary.
The most common route is a Jadrolinija car ferry from Split to Supetar (50 minutes, runs multiple times daily year-round). In summer, catamarans also connect Split to Bol directly. Brač Airport near Bol has limited seasonal charter flights.
Two days are enough for Zlatni Rat beach and Bol. Three to four days let you explore Supetar, the stone-carving village of Pučišća, hike Vidova Gora (the highest Adriatic island peak at 778m), and find quieter coves away from the main beaches.
